Understand your draft payroll estimate
Open Attendance & Leave → Your payroll estimate and choose a month. The document is titled Draft Payroll Estimate. You can view or print it, but printing does not approve, lock, issue, or pay a salary.
What changes the amount
- Your administrator-entered monthly earnings and deduction components.
- The workspace’s five- or six-day workweek and public holidays, which define expected working days.
- Recorded attendance. Each punch uses the full-day minute threshold saved with that punch’s policy. A shorter completed punch or missing punch-out counts as a half day.
- Approved paid leave on working days without an attendance record. Pending, declined, and unpaid leave do not add effective paid days.
- Approved attendance corrections, which supply separate effective times while preserving the original punch.
The estimate prorates configured earnings by effective days divided by expected working days. Some configured deductions are prorated and others remain flat monthly inputs. It can change if source records or settings change, even for a past month.
No reviewed income-tax calculation is enabled, so illustrative TDS is excluded. This is not a statutory payslip, tax opinion, or payment instruction. Ask your workspace administrator to review source records and the pay profile if the result seems wrong.
