Business Finance
Read finance reports and alerts
Business Finance shows a current cashbook summary and a Period report, cash flow & ageing section. Choose the date range and run the report to inspect income, expense, management profit or loss, cash in and out, outstanding dues, ageing, and GST or TDS operational estimates.
Interpret the figures
- Profit/loss is period income less recorded expense in the management cashbook. It is not a statutory profit-and-loss statement.
- Cash flow reflects actual recorded cash movement, including settlements; a planned receivable does not become cash until settled.
- Overdue items are outstanding balances past their due dates. Due-date reminders are follow-up prompts, not payment confirmations.
- GST and TDS figures use recorded settings and transaction treatments for operational review. They are not returns, filings, or professional advice.
The Workspace dashboard also shows finance signals beside people, tasks, attendance, and leave. Check the date range and each metric definition before comparing its values with Business Finance. Changing the range does not change point-in-time measures such as current overdue dues.
If a total seems wrong, inspect the filtered transactions, settlements, voids, and report date range before adjusting any record.
